It’s hard to navigate the cloud files because it insists on icons so I can’t read the full file names, so I have to open each map to figure out what it is. However the mobile app experience is an entirely different animal (have on iPad and iPhone). The only feature I have found myself wanting on the online platform at this stage is the ability to add multiple links to one topic or the ability to link to a specific topic on another page (although the latter would be just icing on the cake). When I discovered you could use icons and filter that was a game changer (as a vet student I have to keep track of disease and conditions for all animals, so being able to filter my map by ‘horse’ or ‘pig’ or ‘dog’ emoji is invaluable).

The online PDF export option is also great, and I love the ability to switch between outlines and maps. I still haven’t mastered all the capabilities but I love the ability to link between maps and to the web, as well as add pictures and text boxes. The online platform is incredibly easy to use.

It’s the first program I was willing to upgrade to the paid version and it has been well worth it. I’m a veterinary student and I use Mindomo for class notes. I don’t write a lot of reviews but hoping to see Mindomo invest more time in their mobile app. By the way some other mind mapping apps say the app is free but then make you sign up and pay.

I was confused at first how to convert the. But it would be nice if I could have a left branch and a right branch ect oppose to choosing just one side. Also within the design a certain layout only allows you to have your bubbles on the left,right,top or bottom. Maybe this is a feature but haven’t found a way to do it. Sometimes I want to branch and connect two topics or sub topics together but not with the other topics. So what I’m getting at is for Topic and Sub Topic a feature where you can add something on either side of the bubble and below and above the bubble.
I wish it had the option to allow you to connect two topics or sub topics together with a line. This may be hard to explain but on the “Main Topic” and the “Sub Topic” it only allows you to add another topic or sub topic on the far side of the bubble. Took a little while to get used to the controls but I suddenly was able to navigate fairly quickly. It even had features that I wasn’t aware of.
